HOW IT WORKS
Submit A Pickup Request
Pickup request services need to have the following information: contact information, the number of totes, barrels or drums, and how frequently you generate these used empty containers. You can submit a pickup request 24 hours, 7 days a week. Once your request has been processed, one of our representatives will contact you.
Pictures and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
The next step after submitting your request, is to gather pictures of your empty IBC totes and containers. For IBC totes you would need pictures of the group of totes, cages and valves. For barrels/drums you would need pictures of the container along with the removable or non-removable lids. Before we can remove your containers, we would need the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) per Department of Transportation requirement to know the previous contents. The SDS is vitally important!
Pickup Confirmation
Once all the information above is submitted, we would then schedule a day for pickup. This day will be confirmed by both parties prior to the day of pickup. Our drivers will have a bill of lading accompanying them that would need to be signed by your company representative on site.
Inspection and Payment
If your empty totes pass our quality inspection, the next and final step in the process is the payment. RDU Pallets will pay you the agreed upon price per unit. Payments are made either at pickup or sent in a reasonable time frame of your preference. Our practice to always establish payment terms for container pickups with our customers before the first load is ever picked up. We do not pay for all totes or containers. Totes and containers payments are based on location, types (Schutz, Mauser, or Grieft for IBC totes, Removable and Non-Removable lids for drums) and condition of the containers.
